Holly Palmer Beeson

Holly Palmer Beeson holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music from the University of South Carolina with Honors from the South Carolina Honors College, and a law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Following a judicial clerkship with the Honorable C. Tolbert Goolsby, Jr., of the South Carolina Court of Appeals, she practiced law at Baker, Ravenel & Bender, L.L.P. for ten years. Her areas of practice included civil defense litigation, media and Freedom of Information law, and family law. Upon leaving private practice in 2010, Holly served as an Assistant City Attorney with the City of Columbia, devoting her practice there to civil defense litigation and Freedom of Information law. In 2012, Holly joined the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation and serves as Counsel to the Office of Communications and Government Affairs.
