Currently all the applications below are for individuals applying for an initial real estate license either by Exam or Endorsement. A brief description and instruction link is under each license type for you to review and make sure you meet the requirements for licensure. At the end of the instructions you will find a link to the application login page. You will need to know the Board (REAL ESTATE) and Application Type you are applying for.

Application Type: SALESMAN EXAMINATION APPLICATION - This application is to be completed by an individual wanting to take the SC Salesman exam. Applicant must meet one of the following education criteria:
- Completed the 60 hour Unit I: Salesperson qualifying course within the last 5 years (must upload completion certificate. Applicant must also take Unit II: Advanced Real Estate Principals 30 hour course prior to issuance of license)
- Hold a Juris Doctor or Bachelor of Law degree, or hold a baccalaureate degree or masters degree with a major in Real Estate (Must upload a copy of official transcript from accredited College or University)
- Be a non-resident and currently have an active or inactive salesperson or broker license in another state (obtain a certification of licensure from all licensed jurisdictions). Note that this application is not for current SC Provisional Salespersons attempting to upgrade to permanent sales status.
Application Type: BROKER EXAMINATION APPLICATION - This application is to be completed by an individual wanting to take the SC Brokers exam. Applicant must meet one of the following education and experience criteria:
- Have been actively licensed as a salesperson or broker for three of the last five years and completed 60 hour Broker Unit IIIA and Unit IIIB Courses within the last five years.
- Hold a Juris Doctor or Bachelor of Law degree, or hold a baccalaureate degree or masters degree with a major in Real Estate (Must upload a copy of official transcript from accredited College or University)
- Be a non-resident and currently have an active or inactive broker license in another state (obtain a certification of licensure from all licensed jurisdictions) and have been actively licensed for three of the last five years.
Application Type: PROPERTY MANAGER EXAM APPLICATION - Application is for an individual who wants to take the SC Property Manager Exam. Applicant must meet one of the following education criteria:
- Completed the 30 hour Property Management qualifying course within the last 5 years (must upload completion certificate.)
- Hold a Juris Doctor or Bachelor of Law degree, or hold a baccalaureate degree or masters degree with a major in Real Estate or Housing (Must upload a copy of official transcript from accredited College or University)
