APRN RECERTIFICATION
- Automated process based on actual date of expiration
- 90 day notification via email and mail
- 30 day notification via email
- On date of expiration, your APRN license (and prescriptive authority) will lapse; you must cease ALL nursing related activity
- If you email your certification within 5 – 7 days of your license inactivation, your APRN license (and prescriptive authority) will be restored
- If you fail to renew within seven (7) days after your license inactivation, state law requires you to reinstate your license, including a new/updated criminal background check (CBC)
- If you had prescriptive authority, you must submit a new application along with the competency requirement
