Who is on the Commission?

The Residential Builders Commission has eight members appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate. Two members must be consumers, not engaged in the business of residential building, and four members must have been actively engaged in residential building for at least five years prior to their appointment. The other member must have been actively engaged in residential specialty contracting for at least five years prior to appointment.

Of the eight, one must be appointed from each Congressional district, and one must be appointed from the state at large. Members are appointed for a term of four years or until their successors are appointed.
