The Soil Classifiers Advisory Council licenses individuals who are qualified by education, experience, and examination for the use and management of soil recourses. This includes soil characterization for onsite waste disposal (septic systems), hydric soil identification, soil investigations, advisory services, and classification and mapping for localized soil surveys. It receives and investigates complaints and follows through with appropriate actions against those who violate soil classifier laws.

SC LLR can assist you with examination information and materials, continuing education requirements and opportunities, licensure applications and renewals, council information, and more.
