Plan Review & Label Applications
Modular plan review applications and the accompanying fees may be submitted online or by mail, and the designated approved inspection agency is tasked with submitting the stamped plans for review to maggie.smith@llr.sc.gov. Plans for review will not be placed on the schedule until the completed application, fee and stamped plans have all been received.
New plans for review should include the Plan Review Application as a cover page for staff to use as verification of design values and model information.
Modular certification label applications and the accompanying fees may be submitted online or by mail after approval of a model has been issued by the Modular Building Program.
Label applications for modular buildings constructed as single- and two-family dwellings must be accompanied by the Modular Unit Sale and Installation Form completed by the properly-licensed installing contractor. If the single-family modular dwelling will be partially installed for display by the manufacturer at the manufacturing site, the Manufacturer Display Information Form must be completed and submitted by the properly-licensed installing contractor with the label application.
Supplemental label forms may be uploaded to the label application in the online portal, emailed separately to contact.bcc@llr.sc.gov once the label application is completed online, or mailed with the paper label application and fee.
